Are you our new Logistics & Distribution Coördinator? (Enschede, 32-38 hours)

 More than one million people in Europe sleep without a warm or safe place. Sheltersuit Foundation develops and produces Sheltersuits and Shelterbags that provide immediate protection against cold and rain. From our social workshop in Enschede and through partners worldwide, we ensure these products reach the people who need them most. Our impact is growing, and with it our logistical challenge. Then read on, because we are looking for a proactive Logistics & Distribution Coordinator who ensures our global impact runs smoothly. 

 Sheltersuit is growing. This requires strong logistical coordination, clear processes and someone who takes ownership of the entire chain: from inventory to global distribution. You ensure our products arrive at the right place at the right time — reliably, efficiently and professionally. You bring structure, connect production and distribution, and help take our logistics organization to the next level. 

In this role you will:

• be responsible for inventory management of materials and finished products;
• organize transport, shipments and incoming goods efficiently;
• coordinate and monitor worldwide distributions to NGO partners;
• work together with the production manager to guide and strengthen the logistics team;
• optimize and continuously improve internal logistics processes;
• liaise with NGO partners regarding deliveries and impact reports;
• ensure clear planning, reporting and alignment between production and external partners.

• receive a salary between €3,000 and €4,000 gross per month (based on full-time, 38 hours) with employment conditions according to the MITT collective labour agreement, including pension, 8% holiday allowance, 25 vacation days and travel allowance.

Getting to know you
We would love to meet you if you:

• are intrinsically motivated by our mission;
• have at least MBO-4 working and thinking level, preferably in logistics;
• have at least 2 years of experience in a similar logistics role;
• maintain overview, set priorities and make decisive decisions;
• have strong communication skills and easily switch between different stakeholders;
• are culturally sensitive and able to guide people in a positive way;
• enjoy improving, structuring and building processes;
• have a good command of Dutch and English;
• preferably have experience with Exact or similar systems.
