Request Sheltersuits or Shelterbags

We are an NGO. How can we request Sheltersuits / Shelterbags?

We are always looking to work together with helping organisations and homeless shelters. Please fill out our contact form. One of our colleagues will get in touch with you as soon as possible to discuss the possibilities.

Can I buy a Sheltersuit as an individual for someone who needs one.

We really appreciate it when people try to help others. However, for the distribution of our products we work closely together with homeless shelters and other helping organisations to make sure the products are distributed to those who need them most. So unfortunately it’s not possible to order our products as an individual.

You can still support our mission to provide warmth and dignity to homeless people by making a donation to the Sheltersuit Foundation.

Materials

Can I donate my sleeping bag?

Yes, that’s possible! The lining of our products consists largely of sleeping bags. We can only use synthetic sleeping bags that have been pre-washed.

You can bring your sleeping bag(s), or send them by post. We are available on workdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Sheltersuit’s postal and visiting address is:

Stichting Sheltersuit
Rigtersbleek-Zandvoort 10-9
7521 BE Enschede
The Netherlands

Can I donate my tent?

No. It is not possible to donate tents. We use coated tent fabric that is weather and wind resistant. The exact composition of this material is known, so that we can easily process the tent cloth in any product.

We do not know the composition of other tents and the material is very laborious. It is better to hand this in elsewhere. Many thrift stores will be happy with it.

Do you have return points for sleeping bags in the Netherlands?

Unfortunately not, but you can bring your sleeping bag(s) to us, or send by post.

Do you benefit from other materials?

You can always send a sample to the address below. Please state the product specifications, description and sender. Our product manager will assess the materials for usability and contact you if necessary.
