Wash for warmth
What is a Sheltersuit?
The Sheltersuit is a wind- and waterproof jacket with an optional sleeping bag attachment for instant protection, suitable for colder climates and made of high-quality, breathable tent fabric. The suit comes with a bag.
The exterior is made of high-quality, waterproof tent canvas that breathes well. The inner lining consists of upcycled sleeping bags, making each Sheltersuit unique. The large hood protects the face from rain and streetlights and includes an integrated scarf.
For whom is a Sheltersuit?
A Sheltersuit is made to offer some protection to people who are forced to sleep outside. These include homeless people, refugees and victims of wars and disasters.
1 Sleeping Bag = 5 Euro
However, before we can use these sleeping bags, they need to be cleaned. That costs €5 per sleeping bag. Donate now to help us upcycle these sleeping bags and provide protection for people who are homeless.
Washing and upcycling
We want to contribute to reducing waste streams. That is why we use sleeping bags, when making our products.
Protection
We develop products: Sheltersuits and Shelterbags that protect people from weather conditions. This keeps people warm and dry.
Creating Jobs
Sheltersuit Foundation employs people of all nationalities. Some people work on a voluntary basis, while others are permanently employed.
