Working for Intero means that we are supporting our customers every day in operating their assets safe, responsibly and eliminating negative impact on the environment. This way we play our part in keeping the world a safe and clean place to live.
But as Intero we like to do more than just that and give back to the society, helping the needy as we can. Therefore, we have initiated activities in various regions and participated in world clean up and food support initiatives.
As part of this we have decided to support a charity organisation as a company. This organisation is the Sheltersuit foundation. Their mission is to provide immediate shelter to the homeless, while using up-cycled material and providing jobs. We as Intero management have visited the Sheltersuit foundation and were impressed by the impact this organisation is making on homeless and also creating employment opportunities for people who’ve overcome hardship and people with a disability.
Shelter is a human necessity. Like Sheltersuit, we believe that everyone deserves warmth, protection, and dignity. We can’t stand idly by while there isn’t a solution to end homelessness, so we have teamed up with Sheltersuit to act now to help the unhoused.
At Intero, we believe in the importance of Sheltersuit’s worldwide initiative.
We have decided to donate 1 sheltersuit for every 12.500 hours project hours. This can result in 35-40 sheltersuits per year.
Our goal: At least 35 suites within the coming year.
We will not just donate the sheltersuits but work together with this organisation to support them handing them out in some the countries were are present.
We also have other initiatives in mind to support Sheltersuit, so that we can exceed our goals and contribute even more to Sheltersuit and their important mission.
Together we’re bringing out the best in each other!
